Giacomo Fedeli
Data analyst & data science student. I turn messy numbers into models, dashboards and products people can act on: from econometric analysis for EU innovation policy in Brussels to AI products like WhichAI, available in 11 languages.
About
After a first year of Business Economics at LIUC, I chose to pivot toward Data Analysis & Data Science, to master the technical tools behind strategic decisions.
Economics taught me which questions matter; data gives me the tools to answer them. My goal is simple: turn raw numbers into concrete, data-driven growth for companies and institutions.
Today I study Data Analysis & Data Science at ITS Incom Academy: a two-year, 2,000-hour programme with 1,160 hours of classes, mostly hands-on lab work (SQL Server and Azure, Power BI and DAX, Python for machine learning, statistics, data engineering, real-time processing), and 840 hours of internship in companies.
In 2026 I put it all to work in Brussels, with an Erasmus+ data science internship on EU innovation projects.
Experience
Brussels 2026: EU projects & events
Erasmus+ internship as Data Analyst & Data Scientist at EUAbout, Brussels: an organisation working on EU-funded projects.
- I3 Western Balkans Readiness Assessment, EUAbout, Brussels (May – Aug 2026). Measured how ready the Western Balkans are for the EU Interregional Innovation Investments (I3) instrument, using regional benchmarking and machine-learning similarity scoring, then turned the results into policy recommendations.
- EUSAIR technological collaboration, EUAbout, Brussels (May – Aug 2026). Built a dyad-level dataset for the 37 regions of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region, measuring inter-regional technological collaboration through CORDIS projects and patents, then estimated a gravity-type PPML model of its drivers: technological similarity and complementarity.
- HHAI 2026: Hybrid Human-Artificial Intelligence, Conference · attendee, Brussels (2026). Two days in Brussels on hybrid intelligence (how people and AI systems can work together), meeting the researchers and practitioners shaping the field.
- Long LIFE to Micromobility, Project team, Brussels (2026). Beyond data science: part of a project that promotes sustainable mobility in cities.
Products I build
- WhichAI.wiki (Jul 2026 – present): The right AI for the job. The right prompt for it. Describe a goal in plain language: WhichAI recommends the best-fit model and writes a prompt tailored to each of 13 AI assistants and open models. Free, private, no account; your prompts and keys never leave the browser. whichai.wiki
- ComplyAI (Jun 2026 – present): Regulatory compliance within reach of SMEs. An open suite of AI tools, built in public, that helps European SMEs understand which obligations apply to them, close the gaps and document every decision. complyai.wiki
- WarRightNow (2026): A live map of wars and global threats. A news hub built around a 3D globe coloured by the intensity of the last 72 hours of news. Pick a country and the camera flies in; open a story to see how the event could evolve and which markets it moves. warrightnow.vercel.app
- Studio Legale Fedeli Macchi & Partners (Nov 2025 – present): A new website for a Milan law firm. Rebuilt the firm’s outdated website: faster, fully responsive and optimised for local search in Milan, on Vercel hosting for under €20 a year.
Earlier experience
- Data entry, Sefin S.p.A., Milan · hybrid (Jul – Nov 2025). Entered and standardised directives, provisions and regulations on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (AML/CFT) for the banking and financial sector.
- Data analyst intern, Sigmund Freud University, Milan (Jul – Aug 2025). Data collection at the Child and Youth Lab for studies in developmental psychopathology, and database management in SPSS.
- Sales assistant, Charity shop · retail, Dublin (Summers 2022 & 2023). Customer service, till operations, merchandising and stock processing; every day, in English.
Projects
- Portfolio Optimizer: Harvard CS50P final project. A Python command-line tool that guides a user from a macro financial plan to a micro portfolio allocation, using Monte Carlo simulation and Modern Portfolio Theory.
